Jordin, I agree with you wholeheartedly. It can be some of the hardest work we will ever do, but it’s crucial to our emotional (and physical) health. I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through right now. I’m so glad you have tools to help you as you grieve your marriage and work to move forward. I recently read this quote: “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.” I don’t pretend to know what you’re going through, but I’ve often been surprised at how things end up in a way I could never have imagined when I was in the eye of the storm. Thank you for sharing the mirroring concept. I’ve not tried this, but I can see by your example how it might really help. It’s like you’re confiding in a trusted friend — a friend that has your back and only wants the best for you. Best of luck to you, Jordin. I’m looking forward to reading more of your work.
